Patagonia W's Loislee Poncho Navy Blue

This simple, versatile, lightweight poncho is made from 48% recycled cotton (from denim), 47% recycled polyester/5% other recycled yarns.

Marcel Proust said that, “A change in the weather is sufficient to recreate the world and ourselves.” For recreation devotees, the Loislee Poncho works especially well as a transitional piece in locales where temps fluctuate. Made of a soft 7-gauge fabric blend of recycled denim (48%), recycled polyester (47%), and regenerated yarn fibers (5%) taken from recycled finished cotton and polyester products. Pullover poncho style is easy-wearing and simple. Two front drop-in handwarmer pockets stash valuables. Rolled hem finished in a point in front and back. Length falls to hip.

Patagonia W's Loislee Poncho Navy Blue Additional Features:

Recycled PolyesterIn 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.
